MAP
MAP involves youth artists with and without disability working together in contemporary dance and theatre training, performance creations and community outreaches. It is also a socio-cultural project which aims at inclusiveness of people with disability into society while breaking the taboos and stigma associated with disability. Dance Into Space has trained close to 100 dancers with disability and 7 new groups of mixed ability have been created and trained. For this work and for social inclusion of persons with disability, Dance Into Space received an award given by The National Council for Persons with Disability in the media category in 2011..
